The much-awaited version 3.4 of Genshin Impact, "The Exquisite Night Chimes," will be released on January 18. This update includes the huge yearly Lantern Rite celebration, competitions in Inazuma, gorgeous attire, and rich awards, including a free four-star Liyue character and a total of 13 Intertwined Fates! While in the faraway desert of Sumeru, a new place with long-lost ancient remnants and mysteries eventually unveils itself amidst the sandstorms, two new characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao, will become available as formidable allies.
As the new year arrives in Teyvat, Liyue sparkles once more in the full brilliance of Lantern Rite. This year's events include a music festival with international guests and a Paper Theater performance, a beloved folk art production produced by local experienced artisans with the assistance of the Traveler. During Lantern Rite, many different mini-games are also available, for example. Radiant Sparks is the latest racing game in which players can become part of a growing fireworks display. By completing this season's events and challenges, you can get free goodies such as 10 + 3 Intertwined Fates, a four-star Liyue character, and Lisa's new attire.
Many challengers have assembled in remote Inazuma to compete in two distinct events. Contestants in the Yashiro Commission's "Warrior's Spirit" contest will duel using traditional Inazuman sword skills, as well as watch an exhibition match between a special guest and Kamisato Ayaka in her brand-new attire. Meanwhile, Arataki Itto is preparing for the "Beetle Brawl," in which participants must combat with their Onikabuto.
The future release will include two additional new playable Dendro characters:
↳ Alhaitham will finally be playable as a 5-star sword wielder. In his Plot Quest "Vultur Volans Chapter," players can learn about the reasonable and intellectual Scribe of the Akademiya's experiences following the events of Sumeru's main story. To make combat easier, Alhaitham can create "Chisel-Light Mirrors" in order to convert his attacks into Dendro Damage, launch coordinated attacks, and augment the damage delivered by his Elemental Burst, among other things.
↳ Yaoyao, the second new Dendro character, is a lovable Liyue child who may be recruited as a four-star character. Yaoyao employs a polearm in battle and the Adeptus-crafted device "Yuegui" to do additional damage or heal her companions. She will not frighten surrounding creatures when approaching them while exploring.
↳ The first half of Version 3.4's Event Wishes will feature Alhaitham, Yaoyao, and Xiao, while the second half will include Hu Tao and Yelan repeats.
However, secrets and perils abound in the Desert of Hadramaveth, a new territory northwest of Sumeru. A massive tornado lies in the middle of the desert, bringing violent storms and hidden secrets to the surface. Following the completion of the World Quest "Golden Slumber," players can embark on another adventure with Jeht from the Tanit Camps, encounter a mysterious Magic Bottle, and set out in search of the lost-lost Orchard of Pairidaeza (now referred to as the Eternal Oasis by desert dwellers), where legend has it that King Deshret froze time here in honor of the Goddess of Flowers.
Following the introduction of the Genius Invokation TCG in Version 3.3, each successive update will provide a limited-time game mode with a special rule. The limited-time rule for Version 3.4 is to bypass the Roll Phase and instantly acquire 8 Omni Dice. This future update will also include two new character cards, Klee and Beidou.
