Reunited! Spotify and Kakao M are back together again

The nightmare is over, K-POP stans! Spotify and Kakao M are a thing again and we ship it. The music streaming platform and the South Korean entertainment company renewed their vows, er, partnership to bring your favorite Korean bops back online. ICYMI: Due to the licensing contract ending between Spotify and Kakao M, a bunch of K-POP songs were taken off the platform in one fell swoop. And the fans were not amused to say the least.

The K-POP fandom was high-key freaking out! You could practically hear the shrieks of panic as Spotify users frantically scrolled up and down in search of their missing tracks.

And just to ease your worries, Kakao Entertainment confirmed in a statement that the licensing renewal will be applied on a global scale,so you can start rebuilding your K-POP playlist again.
