This caught the eye of Voilà AI Artist so they featured a 3D cartoon avatar of Lea Salonga, the singing voice of Disney Princesses Jasmine and Mulan. The app’s Instagram page wrote, “Celebrating topping the AppStore Chart in the Philippines 🇵🇭, we present the real-life #disneyprincess @msleasalonga cartoonized by @voilaaiartist #voilaaiartist.”

Voilà AI Artist is a free photo editor app for iPhone and Android with a premium ad-free option as well. Using this face-altering app, you can upload a photo of a face or capture a photo of a face. Then, its artificial intelligence or AI molds it using a cartoon CG art style. There are four manipulation modes: 3D cartoon, Renaissance painting, 2D cartoons, and caricatures. The 3D cartoon mode was the photo option that really blew up on the Internet.
Just look at the Disney-fied versions of Audrey Hepburn and Gal Gadot. Aren't they cute?

While it looks like a fun trend, just like with any other app that you install on your phone, you must keep tabs on data privacy issues before you download and join the bandwagon!
Voilà AI Artist app meanwhile clarified this issue of privacy.
According to the official Facebook page, the team reassures users that the app does not collect face data, especially biometrics. They further stressed that the app doesn't store the images after processing and gets deleted once it’s done. The official statement also clarified that the rights to the generated photos are owned by the users.
They also slammed outlets that did not bother to ask or reach out to them.
The Voilà AI Artist page wrote, “Making this baseless assumption that every [developer] will somehow misuse your [data is] not only inaccurate but can be dangerous in spreading lies and fear. We hope [that the] media [will] do better in [writing articles] which are based on truth and bother to find out about it instead of spreading unnecessary fear."
