MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar on Wednesday has ordered an investigation into the dangerous stunts performed by “policemen” which was caught on video along a highway in Zambales.
(After watching the viral video, I immediately ordered RD PRO3 Brig. Gen. Val de Leon and even the Director of the Highway Patrol Group to conduct an investigation and impose proper sanctions on these reckless riders)," Eleazar said in a statement.
Eleazar said he also wants to know whether these riders are legitimate police officers.
He added that public roads and highways are not among the proper places and venues where enthusiasts of this activity can perform stunts.
Eleazar said these individuals put themselves as well as other motorists in danger as their stunt is a violation of road safety regulations. (PNA)
