MANILA – A huge part of the country will experience fair weather with isolated rain showers, a weather forecaster said Tuesday.
"Because of the easterlies, many parts of the country will have fair weather, with rains lasting for a short period due to localized thunderstorms," said Meno Mendoza of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Luzon will have fair weather. Warm temperature is also expected, with Tuguegarao having 24 to 34 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Metro Manila and Puerto Princesa may reach up to 33 degrees Celsius.
The Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, Mendoza said.
Cloudy with scattered rains will also prevail over the Zamboanga Peninsula. Mindanao is forecast to experience fair weather with isolated rains.
Meanwhile, no gale warning is currently in effect.
The whole archipelago will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas, Mendoza said. (PNA)
