MANILA – A generally fair weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday, the weather bureau said.
In its daily forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the northeast monsoon (amihan) affecting extreme northern Luzon will bring isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms and the easterlies.
Based on PAGASA's bulletin issued 4 a.m. Monday, moderate to strong winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over northern Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, it added. (PNA)
