At the media conference on October 4 for Vivamax Plus movie Two and One, young actor Miggy Jimenez said he did not imagine taking a mature path from being a child star.

“Hindi ko rin naman po na-visualize like ‘yung kung ano man ‘yung ginagawa ko for my career. Pero yes, ito na ‘yun. Ito na po ‘yung tinatahak ng career ko ngayon.”

He also expressed his interest in doing more LGBTQIA+ roles in the future, citing that he felt privileged to bring life to his character.

“Hindi po ako natatakot kasi first of all, it’s part of the job na para po gawin ‘yung mga– you know to be versatile, na makapag-explore sa mga characters.

“I mean kung mabigyan ako ulit, why not? Kung mabigyan ako ng character na LGBT, it’s privilege. First of all, story telling, makapag-kwento ka, malaking pribelehiyo, malaking bagay na po sa akin noon.”

He then also noted that he’s open to doing any roles that would get offered to him, considered these as blessings.

“I feel hindi ko po masasagot ‘yun as of now, pero kung ano po ‘yung ibigay sa akin, kaya naman pong pag-usapan ‘yun. Kung ano man ‘yung mabigay na blessing.”

Jimenez began his career as a host on the GMA Network child-friendly show Tropang Potchi in 2009.

He then appeared in various Kapuso series such as Genesis, Beautiful Stranger, and Princess in the Palace.

He began taking on more mature roles when he joined the cast of  as Wesley.

Apart from Jimenez, the Vivamax original film Two And One also stars Paolo Pangilinan and Cedrick Juan. It is under the direction of Ivan Andrew Payawal, and premiered on Vivamax Plus on October 5.
