On July 21, Viva artist Angeli Khang admitted that she’s still not used to taking off her clothes in front of the camera for sexy scenes.
At the media conference for the Vivamax original series ‘Wag Mong Agawin Ang Akin,’ Khang said that it was never easy for her to be in nude scenes.
“For me, until now, it’s never easy to show your body, kanina ‘yung pinapakita ‘yung frontal ko–lahat, nahihiya pa rin talaga ako, parang hindi ako ready, hindi ako prepared na ganito ‘yung ginagawa ko.”
However, with the help of their series director Mcarthur C. Alejandre, she got to prepare herself mentally.
“But, with the help of Direk, pag nasa shoot na talagang prepare mental health.”
She also cited the advice of Alejandre about changing her perspective that nude scenes could be an art.
“And, laging sinasabi sa akin ni Direk, ‘Anak ipakita mo kung ano ‘yung kaya mo ipakita dahil you just need to have confidence. And, it’s an art. If you look at it the wrong way, then mapupunta sayo, wrong–negative, but if you look at it at the right way, it’s an art na binibigyan natin ng color ‘yung script.'”
Khang has worked on Vivamax productions such as Taya, Mahjong Nights, Eva, Silip sa Apoy, Pusoy, and Virgin Forest.
The sexy Viva artist also reacted to people dubbing her the Vivamax Queen.
“Very happy or blessed, and hindi ko akalain na mag-iistay ako from the start, until here, puro top ‘yung mga movies na nagagawa ko and over joyfulness. Gusto ko mas may gawin pa, I know na every movie, mayroon akong, maipapakita, and I want to stay. I’m happy actually.”
Under the direction of Mcarthur ‘Mac’ C. Alejandre, the Vivamax Digital series streams via Vivamax starting July 31.
