Andrea Brillantes and AC Bonifacio own the Online Station x BaiCon Spotlight Awards

The 2021 BaiCon InFest Spotlight Awards event really embraced the purely online format with the overall theme based on the year 2000 A.K.A. The New Millennium Y2K aesthetic. A time when the Internet was just starting to get its groove and the tech-savvy Gen Z population were still in diapers or pangarap pa lang ng kanilang mga magulang.
Ang lakas maka-nostalgic ng design lalo na for millennials who actually had to live through both the cool and corny fads of the early 2000s. (Newsboy cap and elephant pants pa more!)
Despite circumstances that have kept most people in their homes, the BaiCon event in partnership with influencer and content creator management brand Online Station, has given rise to innovative online content. The Spotlight Awards give major props to these local talents with Online Station presenting its very own award and with OS talents such as AC Bonifacio and Mayonnaise in attendance. So sino ba ang mga nanalo?

Kung fan votes lang ang labanan, panalo na si Online Station Philippines talent AC Bonifacio riyan! In fact, the singer, dancer, actress and lahat na was given the Instagram Superstar award for getting the highest number of votes on the social media platform. AC was all smiles upon accepting the award and said, “When I do all my content—anything I do in general—it’s to inspire and entertain. But to be able to win awards for [creating content] is an absolute honor.”
Of course she didn’t forget to shout out her beloved fanclub and continued, “I’d like to thank my ACnatics and everyone who voted for me. I love you guys! Thank you for taking the time to always be there for me and supporting me.”

As mentioned earlier, may sariling pasabog ang Online Station and gave an award to the personality who has made a significant impact on valuable digital platforms and actively engaged with followers to spread good vibes and a positive influence.
The award was given to Andrea Brillantes A.K.A. Blythe who couldn’t be present physically but made her presence felt virtually and gushed, ”Hindi ko po talaga inaasahan na mananalo ako ng award na ’to kaya from the bottom of my heart, maraming salamat sa paniniwala at sa tiwala na binigay ninyo sa akin!” You can watch Andrea’s full reaction video and thank you message upon receiving the award here.

In true Pinoy fashion, it ain’t a party without an all-out singing session! Kaya naman dinala ni Online Station ang bandang Mayonnaise for a virtual performance to close the show. Hindi lang sila musikero, medyo jokester din! When talking about the event’s Y2K theme, humirit bigla si Monty ng, “What a wonderful time, the year 2000. I remember being born!” (Gen Z ang peg?!) Panoorin ang rakrakan ng Mayonnaise at the 1 hour and 34-minute mark of the BaiCon event video.
