Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi has revealed their collaboration with Brightlight Production.
Firstly, Dyogi confirmed the series Love on the Move, a partnership between Star Cinema and Brightlight to produce a show on TV5. Director Olive Lamasan heads the production team that airs with the Kapatid Network.
“Yung mga iba naming partnership, katulad nga nitong Love on the Move, line produced by Star Cinema, ABS-CBN Films, under Olive Lamasan,” said Dyogi.
Then, Dyogi discussed their arrangement with Brightlight. He noted that Star Cinema produces talents and concepts while Brightlight handles the finance. Dyogi also highlighted that they employed retrenched employees of ABS-CBN.
“Employing some retrenched people and some TV personnel, are able to come up with this with Brightlight. So that was the arrangement. A line production, konsepto namin, artista namin and we line produced it. But, funding from Brightlight,” said Dyogi.
He also highlighted those other partnerships with Brightlight, wherein they deploy Star Magic artists to provide exposure to their talents.
“Yung iba namang programa ng Brightlight, ano lang napahiram namin yung iba naming mga artista sa kanila. So they still have exposure even during this time na very limited ang audience namin. Nakikita pa rin sila sa ibang plataporma,” said Dyogi.
Some of the artists included in the series are Elmo Magalona, Elisse Joson, JC Alcantara, Jeremiah Lisbo, Kaori Oinuma, Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz.
Earlier, Brightlight Production Big Boss, former congressman Albee Benitez, revealed that they worked with ABS-CBN to produce their shows on TV5.
