Blinks! Are y’all ready to see BLACKPINK on the big screen? Pwes, wait no more! BLACKPINK, the K-pop girl group, has revealed an exciting project ahead of their fifth anniversary. 

YG Entertainment spilled the tea earlier today, announcing that the group will hit the theaters worldwide for the first part of their anniversary called the 4+1 PROJECT.  The “4” refers to the group members so what does the “+1” mean? New member alert ba ito? 

The South Korean quartet teased the 4+1 PROJECT with a mysterious teaser graphic on their social media accounts. They also sent a link to the project's microsite, which currently displays the same teaser picture.

The film, entitled BLACKPINK THE MOVIE, will be screened at CGV in more than 100 countries around the world in August, just in time to celebrate Blackpink's debut day on August 8. Grabe, BLACKPINK world domination is real! 

ICYDK: CGV is South Korea's largest multiplex theater chain, with branches in China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Turkey, Vietnam, and the United States. 

CGV promises to give Blinks an immersive experience—as if you were attending a real concert. The cinema will show different editions of the film such as Screen X, a three-screen display that extends to the front and left walls. There’s also the 4DX version that distinctive sounds and physical effects to enhance your viewing experience.

BLACKPINK THE MOVIE will feature a number of segments, such as "Room of Memories," which recounts—you guessed it—memories that look back at these five years since Blackpink's debut and a special interview for fans. The five performances of "THE SHOW" and "IN YOUR AREA" will also be included in this ultimate Blink fantasy.

On Twitter, Blinks all over the world expressed their excitement and support for the BLACKPINK THE MOVIE as well as the group’s 4+1 PROJECT.

Recently, the South Korean girl group was nominated at the SEC Awards Brazil in four categories: Musical Group of The Year, International Music Artist, Best Fandom, and Best Documentary for Netflix's Blackpink: Light Up The Sky. The SEC Awards event will be taking place on June 20 (June 21, Philippine time).
