Rabiya Mateo’s pageant outfits were made by 100 Filipino designers

Ilalabas na ni Rabiya Mateo ang isang daang porsyentong lakas ng sambayanang Pilipino! To be more specific, 100 Filipino designers channeled their creative powers to build the beauty queen’s wardrobe for the Miss Universe pageant. (Kaya naman pala eight suitcases ang dala-dala ni ate girl for departure!)

Our Miss Universe assured fans that she will be representing the country with every outfit revealed. She did not disappoint! Nasa airport pa lang ay naka “perlas ng silangan” realness na agad si Rabiya Mateo.

The barong with excellent pearl beading was designed by Chino Christopherson and Marc Rancy. The shiny trousers with lovely frills and flares at the bottom were also made by Rancy. To complete the ensemble, intricately designed accessories were provided by LVNA by Drake Dustin. 

All this would not be possible without the supervision of the super style squad Team RAINxEM led by Rainier Dagala and Em Millan (assisted by Elaine Villapando and Rioliza Camantigue).
