Nets get an easy win and one LA team achieved victory

Several of the league’s juggernauts saw action this week as championship favorites, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Clippers all suited up for Game 2 of their respective first-round series.
Easy win dapat ito, right? Nope! Only two out of these three teams emerged victorious from this battle.

To start things off, the Nets were truly living up to James Harden's guarantee of bringing “scary hours” to the league, striking fear into the hearts of the hobbled Boston Celtics.
The Celtics, who were already missing Jaylen Brown to injury, also lost Jayson Tatum in Game 2 after getting his eye poked by Kevin Durant. Malas naman!
The league should be looking closely at this whole eye situation since this is already the second time this was reported on the court. Just ask LeBron James!

Anyway, Brooklyn smelled blood in the water and pretty much devoured the Celtics, 130-108, to get a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven series. Is it time to bring out the brooms for a clean sweep already?

Like in Game 1, the Big 3 of Durant, Harden, and Kyrie Irving was quite the powerhouse team.

Joe Harris also showed up and drilled seven 3-pointers, too! (No biggie!)
Over to the Wild West, the Lakers were looking to bounce back after a poor outing during Game 1 against the Phoenix Suns. Anthony Davis and LeBron James probably heard all the naysayers and showcased why they are considered the best duo in the league.
AD flexed his muscles and unleashed 34 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks, and one steal in 34 minutes. Take that, haters!
LeBron wasn’t too far behind adding 23 points, nine assist, four rebounds, and two steals in their 109-102 win. Yessir, tabla na!

Meanwhile, the Suns fans were praying to the basketball gods right now for Chris Paul to recover from his injury. By the looks of it in Game 2, CP3 is clearly bothered by something following that hard spill in Game 1.
Last but not the least, the Clippers are now down 0-2 in their first-round affair versus the Dallas Mavericks after suffering their second straight home loss. Ouch!
Luka Doncic once again schooled the Clips, recording 39 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Kawhi Leonard’s terrific 41-point outing for the Lakers went for naught after that 127-121 defeat.

Time to raise the white flag na ba, Clipper fans? The next two games are scheduled on the Mavs’ home court.
