Happy DYO Day 2021: EXO’s D.O. turns 28

Our favorite penguin D.O. is celebrating his cake day! Of course, the EXO-L made quick work of getting the main vocalist’s name trending online by sharing heartfelt greetings and clip compilations from far and wide. The fandom have been using specific hashtags in hopes of getting a million hits. As of this posting, they’ve already achieved success with the #OurPrideKyungsooDay tag and the numbers continue climbing, especially in the Philippines.

There’s also another reason to celebrate: Since D.O. left for military service last 2019, fans have been counting down the days until his return, which also happens to fall under this month. Kyungsoo fanboys and fangirls can’t contain their excitement for his grand return.

And we can confirm that D.O. is definitely worth the hype! The EXO member is not only a talented performer but he’s also got acting chops to boot, charming both K-Pop and K-Drama stans alike. He’s starred in shows like It’s Okay, That’s Love, Hello Monster, and the Along With The Gods film franchise. One of his greatest hits was the series 100 Days My Prince, which also spawned this meme that pops up whenever it’s D.O.’s birthday. 

It’s also been reported that Kyungsoo will be focusing on his acting career after the military dischargement.

Aside from the singer and actor’s many talents, fans also fawn over his personality and appearance that give off both strong adorkable vibes and cool romantic lead energy.

With every birthday, fans seem to agree that D.O. is growing more and more handsome, aging like fine wine. We look forward to seeing him back in action so he can flash us one of his trademark heart-smiles once again.
