Because of the abundance of talangka in Sasmuan, and crab fat extraction (aligue) as a main industry, many dishes made by local chefs use these produce, like the aligue rice with crispy crablets, aligue sushi and aligue pasta. Even traditional vegetable dishes are made special with talangka, like the pinakbet with aligue of crab paste and saut�ed bitter gourd with crab paste.
